The Season 7 edition of the DAYF Youth Empowerment and Business Grant Scheme reinforces the importance of supporting young entrepreneurs as a means of stimulating economic activities, encouraging self-reliance and creating opportunities for sustainable livelihoods.
Access to business funding remains a major challenge for many young entrepreneurs, particularly those operating small and medium-scale businesses who often struggle to secure loans or attract investments to expand their operations.
Through initiatives of this nature, beneficiaries can receive financial assistance to acquire essential business equipment, increase stock, improve service delivery, strengthen production capacity and explore opportunities for business expansion.
Beyond the immediate financial benefits, youth-focused empowerment programmes are also considered important in promoting innovation, reducing unemployment and encouraging young people to embrace entrepreneurship as a viable pathway to economic independence.
The organisers urged interested applicants not to miss the opportunity, stressing the need to complete their registration and comply with the stipulated application requirements.
With 500 beneficiaries expected to emerge from the selection process, young entrepreneurs across Ogun State are encouraged to take advantage of the registration window and submit their applications.
The programme is being promoted under the DAYF banner, alongside the political campaign hashtags associated with DA4Senate, Yayi4DA and Yayi4Governor.
For interested applicants, registration is now open, and the opportunity to secure a ₦100,000 business grant awaits successful beneficiaries.
